Dear family and friends,
After several years of declining health and unexplained weight loss, I recently bit the bullet and went to the hospital. Three days later, the diagnosis of advanced multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer) came as a shock to Annette and me and also left us with bills in excess of $20,000. We are working with regular medical and alternative practitioners to try and slow down the cancer and, with any luck, get it into remission.
